We are aboutto embark on a DMP. Just waiting for new bank account details so we can send the info to CCCS. I sent out all the letters with token payments including one to fpc debt collection services.
They had taken over my Capital One account and I had set up a payment plan at 0% for £175 a month. I had managed to keep to this and shaved over £800 off my debt. However, now that they haven't received this monehts payment they have written to me to say I have breached my payment agreement and further action will now be taken to enforce payment!
No mention of my letter?
What should I do, should I ring them and tell them to speak to CCCS?
I'm terrified of the bailiffs coming round etc.
Any advice would be gratefully received! I was feeling so good about finally tackling this problem but now I'm being bombarded with calls and I'm feeling very down

Hi
Try not to worry - no bailiffs will come - bailiffs can only come if the creditor has taken you to court and got a CCJ against you (and if you then haven't kept up with the CCJ repayments). Its probably just a standard letter from fpc, and it could even have crossed in the post with yours.
If you want to stop your creditors calling you I would recommened sending this letter asking for all future communication to be in writing - http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=11571485&postcount=4A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
Thank you for the answer Tixy.
Do you think I should ring them and reiterate what I said in the letter? I really don't want to go down the ccj route!Shellshock  or Nik now the shock has subsided!!DMP March 11
