Debt Dilemma??

i have a problem with debt, the problem is that there are two credit cards on my credit rating un paid from TWO years ago that are NOT mine!

Firstly i contacted the police, who werent interested and gave me the website equifax to look up my credit rating and quiery the cards. to which i did. equifax seemed very helpful and said they would look into it with the card companys. i recieved an email back that pretty much said they cant prove its not me as all the details match so there is nothing i can do.

Im still at uni right now so this is not a massive problem, but when i finish next year and want a car or house it will be!

Any suggestions please ?

You need to take this up directly with the organisations who have put the entries on your file - they have to prove that it is your debt, not you prove it is not.
