have previously have had the "so good" coupons for milk and not been able to use them at Tesco - anyone else tried and succeeded in using them?

Yep, used one two weeks ago - it scanned OK. Maybe this happened because my local Tesco did stock this product? Just a thought

  • Got my free wrapping paper from Superdrug - nice paper too. Also went to WH Smiths and picked up yesterdays and today's games DS was delighted.

I have been having problems with the Bugs Life one though - every time it runs it has a huge black line across the screen. Swapped it today so hopefully this one should be OK.

I redeemed my 3 book vouchers from the Mail yesterday and they went through at £4 each - delighted as I'd bought £55 clothing which was then reduced to just £2.00 !!! because I combined the blue and brown clothing vouchers.

Whilst on my travels getting my papers - reserved 5 lots of toys etc at Argos and got my £5 off a £50 spend x £5 so £25 back in gift vouchers. Was delighted to pick up a freeview box for £19.99 and a PAYG mobile with camera, etc complete with £30.00 credit on 3G for just £29.99 !!!! top bargain and DD3 will be delighted with this. (argos code is 5472925). The sign says one per customer but as mum was with me I bought another one as a treat for myself !

Builders came around to apologise for not starting and promised faithfully they will start on Monday. Having had more car problems I was glad to go out today and do abit of shopping with my obligatory vouchers LOL

    Free Motown CD tomorrow
Free Adult DVD on page 36 with ad at various Private Shops (these are just the cert 18 films which are sort of softcore, they aren't the blue ones, so it may not be worth your time depending on what you like) - these ads are in pretty regularly it seems
  • As advertised in today's Mirror, tomorrow the Sunday Mirror will have an offer for a FREE Remembrance Day Rose (send p&p)

Hiya Welshy, a bit of advice please? Am I missing something about combining vouchers? I've noticed you've mentioned this before. I currently have 4 Tesco Clothing vouchers in my purse (£4 off a £20 spend on kidswear, £6 off a £30 spend on womenswear, £6 off a £30 spend on menswear and £10 off a £50 spend on general clothing). Can I combine these in anyway to make them more effective?

    Cheers, flower!

I also have some Boots specific vouchers (between £3 and £1 off Boots own brand medication).

Does anyone know if these'll scan elsewhere? Thanks!
  • Hiya rozeepozee  the clothing vouchers were the brown ones which expired today and the blue ones which expire in summer 2007. By using the blue £6, £4 and £10 off and the brown clothing vouchers for £7, £4 and £10 I had £41 off my purchase of £20 kids clothing and £35 womens clothing. Just to be on the safe side I also picked up a pack of mens socks to take it over the required spend.

Sadly, the brown vouchers have expired now but you could use the blue ones and combine the kids one with one of the mens or womens voucher and then use the £10 off money off voucher. Which would be £20 off a £50 spend.

Thanks Welshy, I'll have a trip out there soon. I am still busily gestating at the moment. 6 days overdue and thoroughly fed up :(
