babybakey - why not look at the savings tab and see where you could get a good ISA that offers you a good interest rate? The Halifax may not be most competitive. Once you get the details of your ISA you can use online banking to transfer the money across each week/whatever. The ISA does not need to have online banking itself, you just need the sort code and account number.

I am sure you are right to pursue court action but what you can't plan for is any financial benefit from it. You can hope for justice but the likelihood is that the defendant will plead poverty if they can be bothered to turn up at all. Their tactics will be to delay and then prevaricate and then be non-communicative then obstructive. You may well find yourself behind a long list of creditors.
I suspect that car dealers,garage mechanics etc, have an insurance policy that covers them for motor trade business.
