Hi people, I have got a parking ticket for parking in a space at work which is on the land of the business that I work for however I parked in a short stay car park for longer than I should have been. The business employ an agency to check the car parks (similar to hospitals).I pay per year for car parking. Do I need to pay this? If so will it effect my credit rating if I don't pay it straight away?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.

Hiya
Have you spoken to your works HR department about this? They maybe able to get the enforcement company to waive the ticket this time.
However, if they have decided to wash their hands of this then you may be in for a rough time.
How much was the fine for?
I don't believe it would affect your credit rating unless they took you to court to obtain a judgement for the unpaid fine but stand to be corrected on that!
Best of luck

If i park in someone elses' space in my own car park (space included in the price of my property) then I can get clamped. The management company cannot do a thing about it as the clampers are a private company. I don't fancy your chances of getting out of paying, sorryLBM: 22.12.2010 :j Self-managed DMP start 29.1.2011DMP Mutual Support Thread No: 4130
