The prize, worth £600, will see the winner and their guest enjoy a three to four-hour experience with approximately an hour spent up in the air overlooking the British countryside. A traditional champagne toast will be offered upon landing and a personalised certificate signed by the pilot, and endorsed by Sir Richard Branson, will be presented.
The winner will be able to choose from more than 100 launch sites in the UK, including six in Essex, and will have 12 months to take the prize (flying season runs from March to October). In addition, the winner will receive a Virgin gift pack, which includes: a shoulder bag, compact binoculars, cap, pen, keyring, pre-flight DVD and an engraved crystal champagne flute.
