My 17 year old daughter is looking for training as a gas apprentice any ideas where she can look for courses. Apparently there is a shortage and need for women gas fitters.

she should try local colleges and jobcentre, most colleges only allow students to enrol when they have a work placement, good luck

depends on where you are based! our local british gas equivilent company take on new recruits at certain times of the year, pay for the training and providing you pass the corgi exam they give you a job, my brother in law recently re-trained after his wife had their 3rd child and he was made redundant, he couldnt be happier. worth a look.
