Can a DMP or IVA force to move house?

Hi,

In theory.

If a person is renting a house which is way bigger than they need and so the rent is very very high and that person is on a DMP or IVA with up to date payments, can creditors or the IVA force you to rent a smaller property to free up money?

you can't be 'forced' to do anything

they can however refuse to accept your financial statement and try to get you to pay more.... it would depend whether it was obvious that you were massively overpaying
