Tesco Loan

I have a £10k loan with Tesco. I have had it since October 2009, always made my payments. Really struggling at the moment and think I will possibly miss this months payment(due on the 14th) and maybe next. I am moving house tho, which will cut my overheads in half and once I am up and running I should be fine. Does anyone know if Tesco will allow me to freeze the account for a month or 2, really don't want to borrow anymore cash, help appreciated.

Best to ask them I think. They may do if you explain the circumstances,then again...........!

Most loan companies. will let you change your payment date. Barclays let you put it back by 25 days, others by 21 days. Possibly this would help you? Act quickly though as you probably would need to arrange this by circa 7th of the month. Good luck.

They would let me put it back, but not until the following month. So they won't payment on the 14th of this month and then from the 28th. If I cancel the Direct Debit now and then call up on the 28th of this month, will I get away with it??

No I doubt you would, it would class as a late payment and they will charge you and chase you for the money.
