Selling a diamond help please

I hope I am I the right thread apoligies if not.
I have a question...I recieved a set of diamonds and saphire stud earrings (saphire in the middle and diamonds surrounding it) from my gradmother when she passed away. Unfortunately, one got lost when moving home.
Can i sell just one earring???? My dad said probably as they can break it down and use/resell the diamonds and the saphire, I just wondered if you have or know somewone who has sold one earring before. If so where? I have lokked at the vaulation of both the earrings and it fetches quite a bit.

You will be able to sell it at scrap value, best to shop around for the best price. Or, you could get it turned into a ring or pendant as a keep sake.0
