Picture of my dress....

Hi everyone

I've just seen a gorgeous dress in Berketex but I can't find a picture of it anywhere and I want to show it to my mum who is housebound at the moment.

It's called "Stella" and it's a Julian & Adam dress.

No that's not it - the one I've seen has got sleeves. I've tried google images also but can't find it on there either :-(

Hi, I know this sounds daft but are you sure it's called stella ? Reason I say this is because when I tried on some Maggie dresses , I took down the name of the dress in the shop which turned out to be the shop name ! When I went back again and pointed out to her that I couldn't find it on the Maggie site she said she changes the name because of copies ??? She then told me the real name !

Perhaps in the hope that people will have to go back if they carn't find the right dress else where ? !

I bet that's the reason, especially as the shop wouldn't let me take a photo of it either (the sales assistant was v pushy and rude!).

Does anyone have a link to the Julian & Adam website? I know that most designers have their own, even if you can't purchase of it and hopefully it will be on there.

Julian & Adam dresses are exclusive to Berketex Bride, I don't think they have their own designer website.

I'm just going to go in and try it on without my mum & see if we can get a photo that way. Hopefully so!

That's awful that they wouldn't let you take a photo. I wanted to do that as my mum lives miles away - I rang shops before I went and each one was totally fine about us taking a pic of me in the dress. Maybe the woman there has seen Muriel's Wedding and thinks you have dodgy Abba related motives

I think it is a Berketex 'thing' A few years ago my friend was buying one from there and I tried to take pictures for her. They wouldn't let us until she had paid a deposit!

Can you take a friend with you who could be outside the curtains with her phone or camera and get her to whipp it out and click before your assistant knows what's happening ! (My friend did this for me and it was a good job as H2B hated the dress I chose ! )

Or explain the sistuation with your Mum and tell them she is buying it for you and it's not fair if she carn't see it before she pays ??? !

I have the same problem, i bought mine from Berketex at weekend in the sale. Wanted to show someone but couldn't find an image (I don't even know the name).

The girl that served me was really helpful and i could have taken photos at a slight period when she wasn't there - I wouldn't have been in the dress but i would of been able to take it then. Can your mam not go into a local Berketex and look at the dress - she could always take a friend to try it on 'to get the image'...
