Hi looking for a cheap 32inch full hd tv for my bedroom.
Was deciding between
LG 32LK450U - £270 from Richer Sounds
http://www.richersounds.com/product/lcd-tv/lg/32lk450u/lg-32lk450
or
HITACHI L32VK06U - £250 from Argos Outlet

What about the Techwood 40” LCD Full HD TV £265 at Morrisons?0 -
Sainsburys online are currently selling a 42 inch full HD 3D with 4 pairs of glasses for £329.99 with free delivery
Celcus LCD423D913FHD 42" Full HD 1080p 3D LCD TV plus 4 Pairs of 3D Glasses
You'll have to search as I'm not allowed to post links as a newbie.0 -
Plasmas are still better than LCD screens, in my experience.
£329 (until Jan 20th 2013) for a Panasonic HD ready 42" at John Lewis, but we recently did a price match and got it down to £289 (try Currys / Coopelectrical as starters)

We chose HD ready rather than Full HD as they are kinder/more flattering to Standard definition signals i.e. regular (non HD) Freeview and DVD's. With a 1080P Full HD screen there is more upscaling required to make SD display in full HD which makes the image appear more blocky. We dont have Sky HD and only the current 4 HD channels over freeview, and a large collection of DVD's, so HD ready is better for us. When every Freeview channel is HD then it will be time to change to a Full HD screen, but by then the latest Ultra HD / 4K tech and OLED screens will probably have taken over.
Even at the current £329 without pricematching (but dont forget JL are never knowlingly undersold!), a Panasonic Viera is a better buy than a less well known supermarket brand. LCD's may appear to be better in the store as they tend to be brighter, but if you are a film/cinema fan, Plasma (for the moment) is best.0 -
John Lewis is now showing as out of stock.
Currys in stock, but now £299 and available for home delivery.
