I have been keeping a more regular check on my finances recently after resolving to clear my debts by the end of the year.
I use on line for credit cards and bank.
I have made myself a little pledge, each time I log on I have to pay a bit off something, so £1 here and there is working well so far, I paid £40 of both CC debts today and I also have little targets, I cant see the debt sit at £1507 for example, I need to see it at £1498 or down to the next lower level.
Mad but its working for me :rotfl:

It's a very good method, and don't you just love that moment when you go under another hundred/thousand - it suddenly looks so much smaller. Every time I log onto my internet banking I round it off to the nearest £10 (ie. if the balance is £317.69 I transfer £7.69) and transfer to my savings account. I feel the repayments less (psychologically) when they're a few £'s here and there and it nets me a good £100-£200 a month usually.
