First Direct incentive not paid

Has anybody with an existing First Direct ISA account managed to get the £100 joining bonus on the current account? I specifically asked them the question when I signed up for the current account in october and they said it didnt matter if I had an ISA and would still get the bonus.

I have just been told that because I already had an ISA then they wouldnt pay out! Currently writing a letter to them as I will leave on principle

Yes, I had an ISA and a savings account.

They told me that as it was my first current account with them then I could receive the joining bonus, I got it about 6 weeks ago.
  • I had an ISA with them which I transferred away, then transferred my current account to them. Waiting to see if I get the £100 at the moment. If I don't I'll try for the £100 leaving award.

If anyone's interested I still have 2 referral cards for First Direct left...

The joining bonus for the current account is £100 plus there is a £50 referral offer, of which I will split equally £25/£25

so £125 in total.. (plus access to a 8% regular saver amongst other things)..

    PM me if anyone's interested!..

    Thanks,
    Jon

well top notch response from FD who have done a thorough investigation ;) and decided they should have awarded me the incentive. Very apologetic lady called me yesterday and the incentive has now been paid  It certainly pays to be persistent!

does that means having an ISA in the past does not exclude one from the FD incentive?
