Snip Snip Snip - Cc Gone!

My last payment has reached my credit card - and i have officially closed the account and cut up the card! then letter of closure confirmation shoudl be with me in three days.
HUGE relife.
I have one other cc which is clear bar an electrical purchase i have just made (have the money to pay it off in a seperate acc but felt safer paying on the cc) but after this is cleared this will go the same way.
Then my overdraft to go.
As per my post on here a while ago it has been so hard paying all my debts off (i know its not much compared with some) but to me it was huge! I felt really dispondent last week - the green eyed 'i want a new car' monster nearly got hold of me! i saw someones signature on here it said 'if it is worth having its worth saving for rather than taking a loan' or something like that... it spurred me on.
Actually getting the account closed and card snipped did help to show that the 10 months (had a 0% free for 10 months hence why i ended up with 2 cards i did a balance transfer - but i NEVER activated the new cc i put the balance on to resist temptation to use it) of hell paying it off has been worth it.
I never wanted a cc - never thought i would get a debt on it - and never ever want one again! i have realised that althought i have some willpower not enough to have a cc in my purse.

Debt free May 2016 (without the support of MSE forum users that would never have been possible - thank you all)

Well done,
Since yesterday I now have three valid pieces of plastic in my wallet, namely:
Tesco Clubcard
Morrisons 'Miles' card
MATALAN membership card
I did cut up my cards, but on request of OR:beer:I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.
