in Cutting tax
I did my self assesment return online yesterday. They calculated my unpaid tax was 20p!
However as I had already said I didn't want to add it to my tax code (I prefer to get my bills out of the way) I seemed to have no option at that point but to carry on and send the payment.
I find it amazing they don't round it down to the nearest pound. I wonder if they would have actually chased it if I hadn't paid.

Don't pay it - you will not be getting a demand for such a small amount!0

You won't get a demand .... but it will stay on the record. Just hope for a 20p overpayment next year to set it off! Just settle it next Jan.If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !0
