Kensington Harrassment

I hope there is someone out there who can advise me on this...

My mortgage is with Kensington and there was a re-possession order on my house due to my ex husband going bankrupt, however, I managed to pay the arrears and have paid the mortgage repayments every month on the dot ever since...

My payment goes out around the 28th of each month - or thereabouts. This is Kensingtons' instruction, not mine, i'd like it to go out earlier, however, for the past several months, every month from the 20th day, I've had calls, letters, etc from them telling me I'm in arrears!!!!!!!! Come the 28th of the month, when the payment leaves my account, the calls stop.

I'm sick of it to be honest, its starting to become quite wearing. My ex husband (who's still part owner of the Mortgage) has contacted them to ask them why they continue to do this when the account is credited every month, but they couldnt answer.

I've stopped answering the phones as I've lost my temper with them too many times now... they dont seem to get it!!!!!

Is anyone else who is unfortunate enough to be a customer of the company experiencing this, and if so, what have you done to stop it.

Are you a month in arrears?
  • No, right up to date - they only started coming last year and every payment has gone out on the dot.

What do the letters actually say?

By arrears. I was wondering if the arrangement to pay has been permanently a month in arrears not that you have been paying late.
  • They can't explain it when they're asked why!!!

The letters say that on reviewing the account it appears that it isnt upto date. It was, but all of a sudden it isnt..... I'll post the content of the letters to see if you can help.

    thanks
