Hen Do Help

Hello,
I am organising a Hen Do for my best friend along with another bridesmaid and we are struggling to find cheap accomodation. It looks like we will have about 16 people coming and are not picky regarding location (somewhere in the UK with most people coming from Bristol/London) but the bride ideally wants to stay in a large cottage/accomodation so that everyone can stay together. She wants to stay for a couple of nights over a weekend but everything I have seen so far has worked out at about £150 per person. Is it really this expensive? Can anyone offer any suggestions?
Thanks

have you looked at www.sykescottages.co.uk ? We used them for our cornwall holiday last year and they were good. http://www.sykescottages.co.uk/cottage/Devony-Lyme-Regis/Whytings-2581.html for example.saving up another deposit as we've lost all our equity.
We're 29% of the way there...0 -
there are YHA hostels that you can take over for a weekend, they would work out cheaper I expect..

we are staying at bluestone in Wales with a lodge to ourselves for less than £90 per person for 3 nights over a weekend0

I was just about to suggest Wales - you can get some huge cottages (you might consider two next to each other) for relatively cheap - and it's just along the M4 from Bristol.
Maybe something like this?
