:o OK , I know it is a long shot but I have been given the task of finding famous / inspirational people to read to my sons class on March 3rd for world book day. I'm really struggling !
The school is in Govanhill so local people may have a wee half hour free, I just can't find anyone . Can anyone point me in the direction of how to contact the relevant agents etc ?
I don't mind if you would rather do it by DM. x
Any and all help would be much appreciated :A
Oh & Dearest Mr Martin Lewis ..... if you are free on March 3rd, you would be ideal :D

Thanks in advance
KT xxxx

Think who lives locally -ask in shops if they have any famous "regulars" -even look see who is performing locally (concerts/theatre) when the event is, check out bookshops to see if they have signings by anyone notable. Try ringing local radio stations/TV studios to see who is in town or for contacts to local TV people. How about footballers-some of them can read ;) Try your local football club. Tell everyone you know what you are doing -even random strangers-it's surprising how many people do have contacts but never mention it in passing conversation.

Thank you so much duchy xxx I will do all the things you mentioned. I never though to see who would be performing in the area and ask them if they could spare a wee 10 min ! You are a star xxxx
