February already?! Time flies!
I think I'll aim for 10 NSDs this month please, it was a struggle to get to 12 in January and I have 3 less days to do it in in February!Thank you competition posters!

oo crikey, don't think i'll aim for any in a row as i'd keep to it even if it meant empty cupboards! ..but i will try for...hmmm, 14 half the month...hmm no..3/4 of month...21....no...15? HMMM I don't know! ERmm...:rotfl:18 NSD... I'll try that.... whoop :money:x - (first timer by the way x) xx
I get the feeling you'll fit right in grassgirl! Welcome to the mad house!
I'm feeling rather buoyed by my January NSDs - and I love the traget met smiley Spoony! It just looks just like me as I get closer to catching my target! :rotfl:
I think I'll try and grab a perhaps ambitious 17 this month.
With a wee change to my rules in that I have decided to round down my bank accounts to the nearest ten, when I can, by paying the "extra" pounds and pennies to one of my loans (currently the RBS one).
As long as it's going to debt, I won't count it as a spend. (Though I have to say it's tough to do when you're also concentrating on NSDs as once my bank account is rounded down, it tends to stay that way unless there's an uneven D/D coming out. Saying that, I still manged nearly £40 more to the loan in January than I would otherwise have done!)Jan10: 28,315.81 Jan11: 18,015.32 Jan12: 7,682.58 Jan13: 2,987.73 Current debt: 1,225.55

OK ... that's it ............. I'll go for 15 NSD's in February

 Morning everyone!
Ooh my first NSD challenge for 2011. Had a really good day yesterday and actually felt relief if you would believe it, that I didn't have money in my purse to spend. It kind of took the pressure off because I knew I couldn't spend. I actually enjoyed my lunch break instead of spending it racing around and getting stressed.
I'm going in strong with my first NSD today. Need to buy a heart shaped cookie cutter towards the end of next week, as making OH some homemade treats for valentines day. Apart from that, I'm going to enjoy not spending money, for as many days as possible.
This year I'm going to get debt free, come hell or high water, and with the job situation looking v shaky, I need to batten down the hatches and conserve my cash.
Have a super day everyone.

Morning all.... looking forward to this months challenge
I'm having a spend day today, need to pop to iceland and tesco on the way home so have planned enough food for the rest of the week so no 'popping' to the shops!
Its funny how you plan everything into the spend days, I'm contemplating not counting my work lottery money which I have to give in on weds (£2) because that would make tommorow a spend day.... or I guess I could give it in early today, duh, sorry thinking out loud :rotfl:
Thurs im off to the theatre with girlies from work, we got £10.00 tickets for Priscilla Queen of the Desert, I have no idea what it is about but I love the theatre so we'll see. Usually this would entail a large meal which none of us could ideally afford so I think we are just going to grab a McDonalds on the way. Then on Friday I am out for dinner with friends again and then popping in on a relatives birthday which means a couple of drinks......
DD will be spending fri eve with her cousin but I have given them 2 free tickets for the cinema (courtesy of Mr Tesco!) and will give her a bit of pocket money on fri - phew that sounds like a lot doesn't it! But this hopefully means that Sat and Sun will be NSD's as I won't be going out on Sat and on Sun I'll go to church then to my OH's gym (where my membership is free) with a friend to spend the afternoon in the spa.... cannot wait
I'll be back to let you know how it all goes!!Debt £31,184.05 - DFD - Jan 2015!!!Next target - Barclaycard £1000.00/965.29PAD from 20.12.10 ~ £1318.29NSD Challenge ~ Jan 10/10, Feb 10/10, March 10/13£365 in £365 Challenge ~ £120.06Sealed Pot Challenge member #11540
