Good morning folks!
Moving in the right direction at last - #7 for yesterday, hooray!
Going for #8 today. I'm hoping not too spend before Friday this week - fingers crossed!
Had a really good day at work yesterday - got all my deadline work completed on time ( COB yesterday) so I was delighted, as that's my first "month end" completed without too much trauma;)
Now I know what's involved, I can plan my workload better which will be a big help!
Slept like a top last night - wonder why, mmmmmmmm?
Keiss - loved the card. I used to do loads of x stitch, but I find it hard to see in the winter with electric light. I have a craft light but even with that I find it hard to see. Well done!:T
Kerri - (((hugs))):A
SF - no slapping from me, but I WILL be forwarding the kippers on to you!:rotfl::rotfl:
Beanie - hope you enjoyed your outing with your Mum:)
Off to chuck myself in the shower -
Have a lovely day everyone:)
you will always be rich enough to be generous.0 -

Grrrrrr it appears I've lost a few days again (on the thread I mean) its just not good enough and I spend ages catching up (cos I'm nosey and HAVE to know whats been happening
)
Kerri - sorry you've been feeling a bit glum. Hope your feeling 'normal' again soon :A
Jaffacakegal - boo to the car
Well i've been a busy little bee getting another FB page set up (for business) and sorting out all the tax stuff which was actually much easier than I first thoughtSo scary stuff but I'm actually self employed now with my own business .
Sunday was the spendy day I expected and a friend invited us to local soft play today so I put the money to one side to pay for that (unless I buy a cuppa then I'll have to declare it as a spendy day). Monday was a NSD taking me to 8 NSD's which I am quite pleased with and fingers crossed today will be aswell - will pop back something to declareEmma

Good morning folks!
Keiss - loved the card. I used to do loads of x stitch, but I find it hard to see in the winter with electric light. I have a craft light but even with that I find it hard to see. Well done!:T
He does love it...I will frame it sometime, along with last year's. I quite like the idea of a collection of a set of framed HM Valentine cards!! I still have the first valentine card DH gave me (a large Snoopy one) - 31 years ago !! In it he wrote all the words to Fleetwood Mac's "Songbird", that's why it is "our song". Eva Cassidy does a lovely version (got her new CD from DH yesterday :heart2:). Who said romance was dead!
As to X-stitching, new glasses and a daylight bulb in my floor lamp have helped me immensely. I also tend to stitch in the conservatory, where it's lovely and bright. I have a portable craft light (though it has a power cable) and I will be taking it up to Scotland for our holiday there this summr....can't wait!! We are definitely getting to Orkney this year...house is booked already :j
Declaring today as NSD no 11..so getting there...not sure if I will manage 5-in-a-row, we forgot to get tomatoes yesterdayWonder how long we can stretch the small, slightly soggy ones we have left!
