Thank you for all the Happy birthday wishes here and on Facebook.

Happy birthday to birthday girls Sockdrawer and Jinky (if she's still around).

DH has bought me a very generous Debenhams voucher which will go even further with 20% from Martin's :money:Email. I will probably buy something totally outrageous for his impending 50th party. I'm being taken out to dinner tonight so am enjoying my day.

I worked this morning then tackled the kitchen which was looking very sorry for itself. I also hoovered the hall and sorted out my chest of drawers. All the downstairs paintwork has been washed and the downstairs loo has been cleaned.

HelenJ - Thinking of you and your family x
  • Hiya Sunnygirl! Thank you for the HHC (which I ran on a bit)
Managed to clear the bedroom floor
    empty bins
    pile up hubby's magazine mountain
wash the bath (had plumbers in yesterday and it was filthy)
Saving up £25000/£3500 by Jan 1st 2012 by selling my clutter. Remember I'm doing it for Dad.
Textiles, languages, travel and a lovely home are not stupid things to want. You have immediate family's support.Appreciate what I've achieved so far. Other people's opinion of me is none of my business.

    Lost 2.5lbs this week :j

Came home with cleaning bargains although new bowl doesn't fit my sink very well.

Have put wm on a cleaning cycle as I have been washing stuff from hospital and have become a little paranoid about bugs. Kettle also descaled.

I am off to do hh (25mins) in master bedroom before continuing chauffeur service.;)

    Ninth Anniversary
Didn't go in the garage - Mum phoned and Dad has taken a turn for the worse and the hospital are now making him as comfortable as poss and just waitingfor the end, I've arranged with DH to come home and look after kiddies and I'll go to the hospital as soon as school is over. I'm trying to treat each day normally until things have to change

    Love and hugs to all
    Helen x

Ps I feel so sick and I'm dreading telling the kids when it happens, they are both so attached to him

sorry hear this -thinking of you and your family at this difficult time.

    lots of hugs

hugs to Helen before I forget, not an easy time ahead for you:(

shared lunch soup with DH as there was a bit too much for one person
    then
    did downstairs cloakroom
OH had cleared the stairs of all his clutter, so cleaned the entrance hall, stairs and dewebbed.

found out I should not sit down until all bits done that need doing, as I still have to mop floor.

    But

all is now OK for delivery of new cooker:T tomorrow afternoon
    Sue
Do I need to eat it :o
    Can I afford the calories:eek:
have I checked for a lower calorie version:T
