    Your dad has provided for your mum with his company pension so I wouldn't say his estate is worthless.

    As Clapton suggests getting a P2 coding notice would help to explain exactly how your mum's tax code is being worked out. Once she has paid off that underpayment her tax code will increase and would probably be k210. This would be applied to her teacher's pension.

    BR tax code should be applied to the pension from your father.
