why is it so important that she likes Chinese  if she doesn't like it, she doesn't like it.

I'd just like to get her to like it because I like it. Then we can have Chinese occasionally for tea! :p

If I hadn't weaned her onto other foods which she "didn't like" I'd be in a constant cycle of pizza, pasta and sausage+chips. I blame her parents!

I only eat the fried rice dishes and the *** & mushroom dishes.

I'd rather starve than eat a curry or anything spicy. Try a simple vegetable stir fry .. with veggies she knows she likes and maybe a couple of new ones.. roughly chopped so if she hates them.. she can pick them out!!

My husband was brought up on chips and stodge as well.. he almost died of horror when I handed him a nutloaf!!

That's how she was 18 months ago, it's amazing how tastes can change so quickly!

I think I'll just keep persevering.
  • How about cooking a load of rice and add cooked chicken, onions, peppers, mushrooms and one of those tiny sachets of chinese or thai sauce from the fresh section in tesco or sainsbury? It will be really well dispersed and if you serve it as 'biriani' you might get away with it???
