I've just posted this in the discounts board in response to someone looking for a code for Royal Ascot - before you ask I don't have one, I just thought they might fancy this day instead! Anyway, posting here too as it is a freebie!:)
If you want to go to Ascot for a good day at the races they have a free entry day on Wednesday 27th April. It is a good day out - we went last year:
The Flat season curtain raiser features the £65,000 Group 3 Sagaro Stakes, one of the most important trial races for the Gold Cup, on the third day of the Royal Meeting. Additionally, there are two Listed races which are also sure to provide clues to races at the Royal Meeting - the Cleanevent Pavilion Stakes and the Britain’s Got Talent Paradise Stakes.
Grandstand tickets are free, and car park passes are free (no dress code in grandstand). You also get a free race card, which I seem to remember included a voucher for a free cup of tea, snd there will probably be free copies of the Racing Post handed out on your way in.

Thankyou for this, you can add up to 9 tickets into your shopping basket for free for April 27th. The confirmation states the tickets will be posted out.0

Is it possible to book free parking for this day? If so, I can't seem to find where/how you do it!0
-
On the confirmation page, there is a link which says parking is free in car park 6 :T0

Thanks katiekins!
It's not the kind of place we'd normally go but seems like a fun day out and will make a nice change. Fingers crossed for good weather and I might even take a picnic!
I'm assuming that free parking isn't bookable in advance but if I'm wrong, please shout!
A bit more info:
Our Free Raceday is perfect for those that would like to learn about more racing and what happens behind the scenes at a racecourse. It will be an ideal event for a novices and racing fans alike.

Does anyone know how long it is before they post the tickets? I ordered some on Feb 2nd but there is still no sign of them. I'm hoping they'll post them closer to the date and haven't forgotten me."Rain is grace; rain is the sky descending to the earth; without rain, there would be no life."0

I don't know when they're supposed to be sent but I ordered Feb 1st and haven't received mine either, so it's not just you, if that helps!0 -
Thanks for the reassurance Autumngirl.:)"Rain is grace; rain is the sky descending to the earth; without rain, there would be no life."0
