Santander / Cahoot Loan Problem.

Paid off my former Cahoot Loan, that was taken over by Santander.
They still managed to take 2 direct debit payments. Even though DD mandate was cancelled.
Recalled DD and complained. Received a letter to tell me that the payment had been sent back, and due a refund. Received a refund and a loan redemption letter a few days later.
10 days passed and then money left went astray from my account taking me overdrawn. One payment was santander claiming back the £70 from the DD that that was recalled even though it should never had existed in the first place. The 2nd payment over £100 was taken from my account by Santander to clear a third party account. Totally incompetant.
In summary, they were taking DDs from my account without a mandate, to pay a loan that had been paid off and was in credit. Then they repaid too much, prior to taking it back without informing me taking me overdrawn. In the process they took extra money to settle someone elses account. Yes someone elses account, I even know her name. (If you know anyone called Yvonne who has problems with Santander at the moment PM me!)
Very unhappy, going for compensation. Any ideas, or similar experiences?
