Do you have a stereo already? You could use a simple 3.5mm jack to phono connector if you do, and play your Zen through the AUX IN.
I currently use a set of these http://www.goaudio.co.uk/creative-sbs-vivid-80-description.html with my mp3 player (Zen Micro) in my back bed room - granted their not hifi quality, but they're good enough for my needs. Look good, choice of colour and decent sound quality - and from a brand you (hopefully) already trust!!0 -
I got creative ones on ebay - they work great with the zen jukebos. They were around £20.0

I was thinking more of hi fi quality because our hi fi is now 20 years old still going strong but a "little" large! It definitley won't have anything to connect the mp3 player to:rotfl:
I have seen some called Cyruslink LinkDock(?) has anyone tried them? Can they be bought for a good (low:D ) price anywhere or is there a similar equivalent?0 -
it doesn't have an AUX In??
Surely.........:D

even a really old stereo would have left-phono, right-phono socket.. you could get a 3.5mm (headphone) plug to phono splitter, i've done that with my Zen Xtra and its great0

They're buttons to buy, especially compared to buying new speakers

Thank you - I might go for that option. In fact we might already have that sort of cable in a bag of mystery electrical bits that seem to accumulate in the house.0
