Thought I would ask here before I go into my bank lol, dont want them to think im silly haha.
Any way my question is..Is it possible to get a small mortage of about 10k??
Going in to my local bank on monday to ask them about it but a bit of background been..I am a full time university student and get the full student loans, i also work p/t and get roughly 500-600 a month.
My fiancee works full time and is on 21k a year.
I just dont know if this is possible lol. Oh and we have just bothed 21, both with good credit history.

Most lenders won't lend less than £20k. You should (depending on credit file, affordability etc) be able to get a personal loan for £10k and then it wouldn't be secured on the property.Thinking critically since 1996....0

Personal loans are usually spent on cars that depreciate the second they are bought. Buying a house with one is a relatively sensible idea although it will mean the rate would be higher than a mortgage.Thinking critically since 1996....0
