Need Help Remortgaging

Hi All,

My first three years are up on my mortgage so its time to renew,

I am currently with the northern bank and my mortgage was for 58.000 which is now down to 51,000

I have tried first direct which are offering good rates ,

But when I sent my payslips , bank statements and p60 from the accountant they refused me because I am not earning enough even though I have been paying my mortgage for 3 years with no problems,

I was wondering will this effect me finding another mortgage, I am currently looking for a 5 year fixed.

In all the rush the accountant must have messed up my payslips as I only had 4 days to get everything organised because my income is fine for this size of mortgage.

please help

Ringo

I work for my father so I dont get payslips

I had to contact the accountant who deals with it, he said he would get them organised for me and rushed them out ,

my 4 days were running out so when they arrived I told my girlfriend send them to first direct as I knew my wages should cover me no problem ,but there must have been something not in order.

I have no other loans and I dont owe anybody anything.

First Direct are strict with their criteria and affordability.

Without knowing your full details it is difficult to say but being turned down by one lender does not automatically mean the same will happen elsewhere.

Speak to a 'Whole of Market' broker to see what may be available to you.
