APEX discovery solutions

Not sure if this is the right forum.
Got a card from APEX Discovery Solutions to my address to addressed someone with my surname and a first name which has the same initial as me, but for a different gender.
e.g. if my names Tina Brown, it's addressed to Tom Brown.

Asks to phone a 0844 number to contact Danielle Marsh and quote a 9 digit ref number.

Any thoughts on what's going on?
Could someone have got some info about me, i.e. initial, surname and address - guessed at my gender and first name, and then used that info to get credit?

Any advice appreciated. Don't want to phone the number as it's not freephone, and don't want to waste money.
