Okay,if you are sending letters to
Saughton House, Broomhouse Drive,
Edinburgh,
EH11 3XG
then do not use this address. the office has relocated to Glasgow and the tax office have refused to put in a redirection.
any mail sent to this address is condemned and returned to sender or Belfast if theres no return address.
HMRC seem to have removed the address from their site but its still on many other sites and theres 00's of letters a day still being sent there with many folks paying £7+ for special delivery that will never get delivered

well I bet many folks have been using the same address for years.
there is still tax offices at that address, and there is mail being redirected to Glasgow.
however the specific XG postcode mail/Dept. isnt being delivered/redirected on the tax offices instructions/choice
as for the cost. you would suprised at the amount of folks who send letters to banks, tax offices etc and pay for Saturday before 9am delivery when the item has no hope of being delivered0
