free ideal home show ticket

The March issue of Ideal Home magazine has a free ticket for the ideal home show. The only condition is you visit on 11/12/13 march.
Ticket worth £18.00 and mag is £3.30. Its a great read too!!
However if you buy the mag in a multi pack of magazines the ticket is not in it.
have a great time it is a fab show.

Went to the Ideal Home Show last year - it was a massive disappointment, and about half the size it used to be. We'd seen the whole thing within a couple of hours. Tickets might have a face price of £18 but if I'd paid that for it I would have asked for my money back.
If you get them for £3.30 then that's probably what they are worth.

well thankyou that was my first post and i feel slightly deflated by your comment. Your not paying for the ticket you are paying for the mag which is well worth it. as for the show it is a matter of opinion i suppose, i really enjoyed it.

Why should they have said thanks for something they simply expressed a contrary opinion on without being rude or offensive ?

hi i'm a first timer too! i went to the show last year with my hubby and 2 friends we had a great time, we got free tickets but not able to see any freebies this time; i subscribe to the mag but it didn't have the free ticket in not sure if i should have had one?

Does the mag say anything about tickets for subscribers ? There is likely to be a phone number in to call if the freebie wasn't there, might be worth giving that a try.

Thanks for posting, but I'd have to take issue with your comment that it's a fab show.

Some people might enjoy it, and if you're in the area already you're not going to be wasting too much time, but you might like to consider checking out some of the other posts in these forums if you're planning a special trip. We went with a free ticket a couple of years ago, and frankly I'd have thought it overpriced at a pound. Loads of tacky stalls selling things they obviously can't get rid of anywhere else, and very little else - basically an indoor street market, but with chargeable entry.

As I said, though, thanks for the post. But I think people need to know what they're getting before they make a long journey.

Bought IH mag yesterday before noticing this... Thanks for the heads up thou'. I was planning to go this year anyway so this is a real bonus. As I've not been before, which day (Fri-Sun) would MSEs recommend?
