Charity Gifts

At this time of year it seems everyone just spends spends spends - buying presents that people don't really need - don't really appreciate and I know I've been there, done that and shopped til I literally dropped when the bills came flooding in! Last year I spent a little and made a big impact by buying alternative gifts for all my family and friends £5 can buy chickens for a community in Africa £15 can buy a fishing net for a community in Asia and without doubt - everyone loved their gift and this year everyone is buying something from these charities. I recommend Worldvision and Oxfam and this year I heard first hand from a worker for Oxfam, just how much a chicken, pig or goat can help a community. 700,000 people subscribe to this site - if everyone spent 1/10th of their christmas budget on these presents what a difference we could make.
