Me and my partner are looking to get a shared ownership house. i am now on a dmp, and the rent were paying is what it will cost for a mortgage and rent on a shared ownership propert so we can afford it.
The thing is i dont want to get financially linked to my girlfriend as my credit rating is poor to say the least. But it will help us if my name is on the application form for the shared ownership home but she will get the mortgage solely in her name as she can afford it.
can anyone help on my confusing situation
Thanks again

I would think that the shared ownership and the mortgage would have to be in the same names0

the mortgage will be in her name, and i will just be down as living there, so in a sense it will be in the same name.
surely if i had a child living with me they would not have to be on the mortgage and all my name will be on is the application saying im living there0 -
either way you would need to find out about the shared ownership
will the mortgage and rent be affordable in just her name?0 -
There are so many deals out there for SO I have no doubt that a Broker could arrange a decent quotation. If you don't get what you want - you'd better hope you want what you get
