  • I can only think of working from home or working somewhere with a workplace creche.

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton

I used to clean peoples house while they were at work. Took my DD with me and she wasn't even 1 at the time. It did take me longer to do the work i needed to do but luckily my DD wasn't too much of a handfull.
I also did ironing from home. I used to put her in her bed for an afternoon sleep and make the most of the time i had while i could.
Another idea might be o be a childminder. I also did this for about 2 years. It wasn't great pay but it allowed me to earn something whilst staying with my children.
Good luck i hope you find something soon.
