Hello moneysavers!
I am currently with Intelligent Finance and am on a SVR of 6.35% (including todays Nov 11th rise) in rates. I have challenged them for a better deal and they offered a lifetime tracker of 5.59% (+0.59 above BoE rate) with a 3year tie in. The only problem is that there is a £299 arrangement fee.
Does the above deal sound ok on £51'000 outstanding balance?
Can I avoid the £299 fee?
Emyr Thomas.

There are better deals out there - you will have to factor in though, the closing fee to leave IF is you move lender. There are some fee free deals that could be better, but it would need some number crunching to see if it will be cost effective for you. Also you would need to see if the schemes offered the flexibility you were looking for.
