How much will I get paid?

I have given a 1 month notice at work and will be leaving (my last day at work will be) 1st December.
I'm trying to work out how much I'll get paid in my final salary taking into account the fact, that I have some holidays left over.
These are the stats:
My salary is £17.5 k per annum
I get paid monthly on last day of each month (or the last working day of each month)
My hols entitlement is 28 days which runs from Jan to Dec
I have taken 20 1/2 days as holiday so far
My question is: will I get paid for the 1st December as well?
The reason I'm asking this is that my boss told me today that she will be working out my pro-rata salary by dividing my salary (17.5 k) by 365 days not by 260 working days; surely this is wrong. She told me that she was advised to do this calculation by Inland Revenue. ?!?!?! I have a feeling she's trying to pull a fast one on me.
Can you see why I gave my notice in???
Your help will be greatly appreciated

It's best to regret things you have done rather than those you have not...

Your salary is per annum, so 365 days is correct.
I worked out you should get paid for 1st Dec, plus about four days outstanding holiday (approx)
(28 days per year equals 2.33 per month. 28 less 20.5, less 2.33 for Dec)0 -

How come it's divided by 365 days though? I don't work weekends or bank holidays. I get paid for 5 days work per week, which means 52 weeks x 5 days per week = 260 days. It's best to regret things you have done rather than those you have not...0 -
I would have thought it would make more sense to work it out on an hourly rate, i.e. annual salary divided by 52 and then by the number of hours you are contracted for? I work pro rata in a school and we always work it out like this.0

Think it will be fine to work it out like that as long as all the 30 days of November are counted? Not just working days. Seemas a bit odd though. I work out you are owed 5 days holiday. On that basis your monthly salary would be £1438.35 gross. Does that sound about right? So you need to total all the days since your last salary payment up to and including the 1st of December if that is your last day, and ensure your final payment is for that number of days plus the owed annual leave.0
