Haven't received a statement for 13months

I am with first response car finance and I have not received one statement through the post to see were I am up too in 13 months, Just wondering if I am entitled to anything as isnt it law for them to send me one? or shall I just contact them asking for one?

I think they are supposed to provide an annual statement, but I'm sure someone will be along with a definate answer shortly tho lol.
If you want one then just pick up the phone (or write if you want to keep it official lol) and ask, I'm pretty sure any proffessional company wouldn't refuse to send one :0)

It'll only depress you - you normally spend the first half of a loan paying more interest than capital and so the outstanding balance doesn't reduce by a huge amount.My posts are my own opinions based on my experiences and info gathered from sites such as this.

Yes it's law that if you don't get a statement sent out every month for the first 13 months, you can terminate your agreement, pay nothing more and keep the car.
But seriously, normally you receive an annual statement and your first one will likely arrive soon. If not, get on the phone and either ask them what your latest balance is or request a statement gets posted out.0
