  • Hi heretolearn it actually says considering dismissing you on the Grounds of Gross Misconduct. But then it says later in the letter before a decision is taken by the company.....
  • Barry - No not in union but work colleague is very knowledgeable. Not received witness statement as yet but they are apparently forwarding to me.

    Well it's just the waiting game now until the hearing. Obviously you know your friend well enough to trust him/her enough to accompany you.

    Be careful that they don't appear as argumentative or a barrack room lawyer. Do make sure that they are well prepared & ask relevant questions. Also, take copius notes, it may prove useful later.

    Have you considered what you are going to say in the hearing?
