Hi heretolearn it actually says considering dismissing you on the Grounds of Gross Misconduct. But then it says later in the letter before a decision is taken by the company.....0

Well it's just the waiting game now until the hearing. Obviously you know your friend well enough to trust him/her enough to accompany you.
Be careful that they don't appear as argumentative or a barrack room lawyer. Do make sure that they are well prepared & ask relevant questions. Also, take copius notes, it may prove useful later.
