Cheap supermarket beer?

I was looking to buy some beer in ASDA earlier, but couldn't find any decent offers on. Does anyone else know of any other supermarket that i could take advantage of (with the 10% cheaper promotion)?

I saw something quite decent on Sainsbury's page for Carlsberg, but I am slightly unclear on how it works (with multibuy deals and such).
