I don't know about women's sizes but I went into Go Outdoors to try on some men's Dare2B jackets to check out the sizing. I am normally a medium. I tried on a medium in a jacket and it was just okay...then a large and that obviously was bigger but still would have been okay. I then tried a large in a different style of Dare2B and it drowned me. I decided you can't tell as the styles seem to differ. It's a maximum of £3.50 to return items so I decided to just order and see what came.

Thanks Searcher2, going by that I think i'll order a size up just in case. At least i'll be able to pad it out with layers or pay £3.50 return postage considering i'm saving around £59!

Hi Rhain, my OH is a 10 and she was in the same quandary as you -To go for her size -10, or a size 12 with layers.

Her raspberry jacket arrived today and the 10 is a great fit. So if you want it looking sleek, i would stick to the 10

I've been dithering about this for ages but eventually taken the plunge and got a coat each for myself and DD and a t-shirt to get the free delivery - wrong size but cheaper than the delivery was!!!!

Is there anyone thats ordered any of the jackets in the colour that is called Rum and if so could they tell please me what colour it is ie purple or navy, the only reason I am asking is that I ordered laser blue and it certainly isnt a laser blue, its ok I suppose but not as bright as I expected not that it matters as I am returning all 3 that I purchased as they are all small for the sizing but I am very tempted to order some more hence the reason I would like to know what colour rum is

Thanks for the post - got 2 "snow monkey " kids all in one snow suits and a girls jacket for £51 - superb. Went for the bigger sizes and am delighted with them. very delivery (free) too.

Got mine today and very small sizing glad I ordered one size up for my kids but more like spring coats rather than winter not very warm good bargain though £18.20 for two kids coats and hand warmers:j

I got my two ladies jackets yeasterday and they are very nice and great value at £25 the pair for size 18 jackets but they wouldnt fit a size 18 woman mind, a 14 at the most but I ordered after asking others about the sizeing so I got what I asked for!

Out of interest - does anyone know which is warmer - Ared3000 or Ared5000? Can't seem to find answer anywhere?
