Natwest Loan - Can I make one-off payments?

Hi all

I recently got a loan from NatWest to get rid of my student overdraft etc.

I was wondering, can I make 'extra' payments to it online? It appears in my list of accounts, so I was wondering what difference it makes if I put in an extra hundred now and again?

I applied to Natwest for a car loan recently (I was declined :0() and I asked the question at the time of application. In my case the answer was yes I could and every extra payment would lower my monthly payment so they do allow this. My advice though would be to ring them and ask and if they wont allow it put the money you were thinking of paying into a savings account and you may have enough to early settle a few months early.

Good advice, we can't be sure that one person's conditions are the same as another even with the same lender.

Ask Natwest if you can do it and if there are any early payment fees.
