Everyday sale - got a card that needs postage added (updated)

Says its a red letter with everyday sale on it but it needs extra postage of £1.19.

I Did win earrings at xmas on there but i cant see them being that much postage.

anyone else had this ?. its a bit of a walk to sorting office for nothing

    yes my D/D just recived 2 pairs of earrings and had to pay £1.19 postage, i am expecting the same don't think i'll bother paying up and just send it back

    Yes it's the earrings - the postman at the sorting office explained they had not sent them out as a small packet but did give me the option of declining to pay and returning to sender.

    Looks like the whole batch was caught - very poor of Everyday Sale.

    A huge thank you to all who post the comps and deals that make life so much fun!
  • Same happened to me and my sister, on the earrings, but both of our postmans never charged us.
  • Yes. I had to pay £1.19 and it was for the earings. If I had know I would have sent it back.
  • I have just had one of these as well. Not sure it's worth the money.

    Thanks for the info - I got a card as well - probs wont bother as the other earrings were awful!!!

    The fee is £1 plus the missing postage so £1.19 is almost the smallest charge they make.
