Hi
I've hit a brick wall and its driving me up it. I had a halfords card which i was trying to pay but I lost my job. I heard that GE Capital was taken over by santander. I found out that I had Insurance on the account so I claimed which took time while i was still out of work but then i found a job and started paying abit off.
Then I got a letter from CL Finance saying santander were putting in for A CCJ against. i sent the forms back with a letter saying the claim was going through and should be paid off shortly. On the 19th July 2010 They filed the claim against as they ignored the letter but then On the 20th July 2010 the claim went through and paid the balance in full and found out from the cab that it was in the month period if it was paid it wouldn't go on my credit file. Well they didnt talk to each other which I didn't know about and it when on my file.
I did a credit file check and found it was on there and it shouldnt be. so i rang CL Finance and they had sent santander a invoice for £40 to get the CCJ removed but had no reply. So i left it for a week just incase of putting it through the system and rang them back and they said it has been past back to santander so i need to contact them.
So i rang them after putting the phone down and santander now saying they dont have any accounts details of me and they cant help. I've rang them countless times to get a different person but they say the same and sounded like they cant be bothered to help. I wrote to them over a week ago and sent it next day by royal mail but i have no reply.
Just don't know what to do now. Where do i stand as i have no idea what else i can do. Please help as i meant to be moving into my own place but cant as i got this CCJ :-(

If you have proof it's been paid, then have a word with the court. You should be able to get the judgement cancelled or marked as satisfied.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
