Mortgage Lump Sum Payment

Should I make a one off payment if I am planning on moving house in the next 6 months?
Current Mortgage is say £115K
My Property Value is say £125K
If I put down £10K I will save £850 approx per year.
I don't need the £10K but I'm worried I'll need it when I'm buying in 6 months. Everything I've read points to paying off the mortgage.
Help!!!

Your LVT is over 90% now so what price are you going to pay for next property ? Costs to move £5/6K ! So you might have 10% to put down on a £140K house IF you have the income0
