    I have got up this moring to find the left side of my face now has no movment of feeling, i am devastated.

    The dr at the hospital last week said it would not happen to both sides but it has, just do not know what to do, i am seeing my gp on tuesday.

    I have been doing the facial excresise the DR said to do but now can not even feel if i am doing them although i am trying so hard.

    Thankyou for everyones help and kind words.

    Please don't wait to see your GP on Thursday. Seek further medical advice today. This is a significant change.
  • Hun, you poor thing!

    Please don't worry that the exercises aren't working yet, it took me almost 2 weeks to actually blow up a balloon from seeing the ENT Dr so it will take time.

    Mine also got worse before it got better so that's not unusual and then all of a sudden my face started "pulsating" but again that was nearly 2 weeks after the first symptoms.

    Keep you chin up, I'm sure you will see an improvement soon. x

    thanks again, i have just contacted my out of hours gp, they are calling me back within 1 hour.

    I am hoping this new change is normal and nothing to worry about, although i am so worried right now, i will update again after i have seen the out of hours gp.

    Good advice there, go and see someone today if you can, even if they say there is nothing further they can do and it will take time, etc etc, at least you know you have done the right thing.

    Not the same but I have Trigeminal neuralgia on both sides (but bells only ever on the left)...and its the same nerves...and I'm alive and posting to you ;) Hang in there. I hope the out of hours doctor is helpful and supportive.
