I went in my local store the other day and the assistant wouldn't take the DM 20% voucher on top of the sale prices, she said it was for full priced items only :((
Also said that the BOGOF is on all Debemha,s womens wear, not concessions, ie Oasis.
    HTH :)

    You obviously had a meanie!
I used the 20% voucher and it included concessions stuff that was on the BOGOF rail - Ipswich

I went into Debenhams in my town today and picked up a Cardigan at half price which was not on a BOGOF rack and a Jasper Conran top that was on the BOGOF rack. The sales assistant put them through the till and discounted the price of the Jasper conran top anway. Very pleased, the top was originally £35 and the cardigan was reduced to £22, so £22 for the both.

Most of the stuff on the BOGOF rack wasn't very good but if you have the time to go through it properly, you might find some bargains.
  • Am very happy with my buys today. It definitely does work with the 20% off voucher. There's nothing on the voucher which says that it can't be used on sales stuff. I asked the SA, and she seemed to think that it might finish tomorrow.

Also, if you only have one 20% off voucher, you can buy several things with the one voucher. They can override it on the till. For example, if you have two £20 tops, and two £10 tops, the till will automatically take off the two cheapest items (£10 and £10). However, if they override it, they can do it so that the till takes off the cheapest of each pair (£10 and £20). Just ask them to do it like that beforehand. The first time I explained it, the really snotty and unhelpful SA wouldn't and told me that it just takes the cheapest off. So, I went off to look around and then came back five minutes later and asked another SA who happily put it through for me, saving me loads of money.
  • stratford upon avon & coventry were both bogof today on womans. Got 4 tops for £26!! xx

They were in my local store.
  • Lots of BOGOF in Hemel Hempstead, but they wouldn't accept the DM 20% voucher and SA checked with another SA who said I couldn't use it in conjunction with other offers.....not impressed. But still got some bargains; I bought 6 items for £40, in three seperate transactions so that I got the most discount I could.I asked if she could do them in one sale and override the prices but she said no, so I said I wanted to pay for each pair of items seperately in that case which she was quite happy to do. Was having a chat with her about MSE and said I'd post on here about my shopping today, I don't think she knew what I was talking about, probably thought I was mad as did the queue behind me! DD quite embarrassed but I saved her money too so she got over it. It's really annoying that some Debenhams accept the 20% voucher with sale goods and some don't, seems to depend on who serves you which is not good enough. Still, I might have to have another visit this week if the offer continues.....
