re mortgage in N Ireland

I have a £26500 mortgage discounted for two years with The Woolwich . I have no tie in's after the two years discount .
Could anyone tell me when it no longer becomes cost effective to change lenders .
I live in Northern Ireland so all Uk lenders wont be available here .
But perhaps someone can advise .

Not sure what you mean here - it is generally a case of looking at the deals available at any given time and crunching the numbers -

As you have a smaller mortgage than many, it is important to avoid upfront fees, and may be worth considering a longer term deal (assuming you are on a repayment mortgage)

Regarding lenders in NI - a good rule of thumb is if there is a branch on the highstreet then they will lend
