i read some where that any one could earn an income but not havinf to pay tax on it, sill me has misplaced the infromation and i have hoping someone would know what i was taking about and could help me.

You can have an income (from all sources) of up to your personal allowance without paying tax. This current year that is £6475.0

Income from gambling is not generally taxed.
If you income is in the form of capital gains then that has a separate tax free allowance0 -
