Oooh, I do this too, although not as much over the past couple of months as I just about stopped comping. The run up to Christmas was the worst due to having ordered lots of things for pressies. I guess I should have been grateful that my orders had arrived in one piece, but no, I was just disappointed that it wasn't a comp win!

Postie comes when I'm at work most of the times, but other than that, I don't do it because we live in a courtyard, with lots of other people. But I do rush when I hear the postbox clap!!!

Come on somebody else must do it. You know what I mean you are sitting down when you see a postal van drive past your house slowly and you pop your head up to see where it is stopping.

    :D guilty :D:rotfl:

I am also guilty of this, my postman is great and we know him well but I have started finding myself getting stroppy when it's lunch time or gone before he shows... usually with nothing but junk mail!
    Great thread BTW :T

GUILTY!!! Especially the high sided delivery vans that poke above the high hedge and tease me by slowing down looking at the door numbers:rotfl:.

I now think that the local postmen draw short straws at the sorting office so they don't have to do my round:rotfl:.

I'm also guilty as charged hehe!! I live on a pedestrianised estate so can see Mr Postie wandering round the streets depending on which room I'm in at the time. At the minute though, he's been wearing a bright orange hi vis jacket, so can see him a mile off!! No escaping me Mr Postie. I work Mondays and Tuesdays too and go straight to my parents when I finish to see my son, so hubby comes home first to get the dog and sort the house out. As soon as he's home he has to ring me with what post there's been that day haha.
